- Government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport) and a selfie — collected solely for identity verification
When you use the platform
- Session dates and the type of session (text, voice, or video)
- Feedback and ratings you submit after a session
- Support requests you send to our team
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only to operate and improve NotAlone. Specifically:
- To create and manage your account
- To match you with a suitable companion based on your needs and preferences
- To verify companion identities before they go live on the platform
- To send you session notifications and important service updates

Confidentiality of Conversations
Conversations between users and companions on NotAlone are private. We do not use the content of your conversations for advertising, and we do not share conversation content with third parties.
In rare cases — such as a reported safety concern or a serious violation of our platform policies — a conversation may be reviewed by our internal team. This is done solely to protect user safety.
Every companion signs a confidentiality agreement and is bound by our Code of Conduct, which strictly prohibits sharing anything a user discloses in a session.
